Dissident Music presents TANGLED (DSMV001), a five-track Various Artists release exploring the meeting point between hypnotic techno and the raw physicality of contemporary Spanish techno. Featuring contributions from RNGD, Joton, Sarf, DCM and Elias the Prophet, the record moves through sustained tension, organic texture sand direct-driven grooves while maintaining a refined and balanced identity throughout. Rather than seeking contrast for its own sake, TANGLED finds coherence through friction itself: different sonic sensibilities intertwining into a shared language. The result is a living and intense record, designed equally for powerful sound systems and darkerclub environments as for more intimate listening spaces where detail reveals another layer of the experience. The visual dimension reinforces the same sense of organicity. The cover artwork originates from an original painting by Alejandro Alcántara, later digitalized and reworked by Jose M. Castro, creating a consistent dialogue between image and sound. As the label’s first vinyl release, TANGLED reaffirms Dissident Music’svision: an independent cultural platform focused on sophisticated, honest and uncompromising techno.
