Independent Belgian artist of Congolese descent MAHINA explores an eclectic voice where soul, Afrocentric melodies, R&B, reggae , and both acoustic and electronic sounds intertwine, carried by percussion. ZAZA is MAHINA's long-awaited debut EP. Moving between deep introspection, spiritual messages, and enchanting harmonies, Mahina embodies a new voice - both innovative and singular. Her ambition is clear: to make listeners feel, heal, resonate, and find a space where music becomes a language of truth and elevation. Alongside her music, Mahina has performed in the critically acclaimed theater production Dear Winnie (KVS & NNT) and appeared on screen in the short film Le retour des femmes colibris by visual artist Patricia Kaersenhout. Zaza is much more then just an EP, it is an inner quest, a journey through love, faith, vulnarability and resilience. Through an eclectic sound palette : soul, Afro-rhythmic, R&B, reggae, acoustic and electronic. Mahina offers a unique identity, both intimate and universal.
